What and Why

Community Markets are large-scale, multi-day pantries that are equity-centered and community-led. They feel like a grocery store with community participants able to browse, touch, and choose products.

These opportunities are being operated by Food Bank staff. Upon arrival, volunteers will be assigned and trained for a specific task based on a range of factors, including: number of staff, volunteers, participants, volunteer preference, and other considerations.

Additionally, we are looking for volunteers to be Peer Navigators, helping connect participants with important resources in the community. Learn more here.
