This opportunity is for our Supplemental Food Program (SFP), a box program for seniors.
Responsibility: The Restock & Recycling volunteer is responsible for maintaining a clean cardboard breakdown area and restocking items at distribution tables.
BEFORE distribution:
- Set up recycling bin
- Help set up distribution tables
- Help set up canopies
DURING distribution
- Ensure a clean and neat distribution area
- Breakdown cardboard and other boxes
- Ensures distribution tables are adequately stocked
AFTER distribution
- Coordinate the packing up of the recycling bins
- Ensure bins are stable and wrapped

Guidelines:
- Wear closed-toed shoes
- We will be outside, please wear comfortable clothing (we recommend layers, a hat, and sunscreen due to the ever-changing weather conditions)
- Be aware there will not be a place to store personal belongings, please do not bring valuables
- Please bring a secure lidded water bottle and a snack
- Volunteers must wear gloves at all times (provided by the food bank)
- We ask that any volunteer who does not feel well refrain from attending their volunteer shift
