This Pop-Up is moving to become a Partner Pantry starting 5/27/25. Find the new opportunity at Mt. Tam Food Pantry | TUE.
Volunteers will be assigned to distribute groceries, recycle, assist with check in, or other duties.
Pop-Up Pantries are critical connection points for our community to receive needed groceries - we will make every effort to stay open for these distributions. Check Pop-Up status here.
Please note: The length of each shift is dependent upon volunteer and participant attendance, product availability, and other constantly changing factors.
Individuals and Teams are welcome! Please only volunteer if you have responded to an opportunity.
Orientation and training are included in each shift.
Volunteers MUST be 11 years or older and minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Shifts at Pop-Up Pantries do not qualify for SFMTA, SF Court, and Project 20 hours, more info here.

Guidelines:
- Only volunteer if you are healthy and completely comfortable serving.
- Closed-toe shoes are required at all volunteer projects.
- We recommend volunteers not wear jewelry. If worn, all items must be covered by the provided gloves and/or hairnets.
- We will be outside, please wear comfortable clothing (we recommend layers, a hat, and sunscreen due to the ever-changing weather conditions)
- Be aware there will not be a place to store personal belongings, please do not bring valuables
