What and Why
For neighbors who live in remote West Marin County, healthy food is not only expensive, it is literally out of reach. To meet this need, the Food Bank started a mobile pantry to connect isolated, low-income residents of West Marin County with fresh groceries.
Every other week, our pantry on wheels travels over 100 miles to distribute fresh groceries to families in West Marin. We bring not only nutritious groceries – like eggs, chicken, rice, pasta and lots of fresh produce – we also help reduce isolation by connecting with those who live on the most remote ranches of West Marin.
How
