What and Why
Construction on the warehouse was completed in late 2023. Shifts are also available just 5 minutes away at the Illinois Warehouse.
Help us build grocery boxes for seniors, glean produce, or other various tasks as needed.
Individuals and Teams are welcome! Please only volunteer if you have responded to an opportunity.
How
Orientation and training are included in each shift.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Temporary age limits:
- Weekdays: 10+ years old
- Saturdays: 8+ years old
Shifts at the San Francisco Warehouse can qualify for SFMTA, SF Court, and Project 20 hours, more info here.

Guidelines:
- Only volunteer if you are healthy and completely comfortable serving.
- Closed-toe shoes are required at all volunteer projects.
- We recommend volunteers not wear jewelry. If worn, all items must be covered by the provided gloves and/or hairnets.
- We suggest dressing in casual and clean layers, as the temperature in the warehouse is often cool.
