Delivery volunteers will pick up 15-20 bags of groceries from the Curbside Pick-up zone at the Illinois Warehouse @1050 Marin St and deliver them to a pre-assigned list of recipients in a randomized SF neighborhood.
We will follow-up around 4 pm the day before your shift via email with a confirmation email from pah@sfmfoodbank.com. If you are a first time volunteer, please be sure you have completed steps and reviewed training materials on the Onboarding Page for Pantry at Home Volunteers Page.
Please read these screening questions from the City and County of San Francisco prior to your shift. We ask that any volunteer who does not feel well refrain from attending their volunteer shift.
Please also come prepared for your shift by doing the following:
- Review our training materials before first shift: Volunteer Guidelines and OnFleet Video
- Please bring a mask/facial covering and hand sanitizer (gloves are available at curbside)
- Wear close toed shoes
- Wear comfortable clothing (we recommend layers, a hat, and sunscreen due to the ever-changing weather conditions)
- Bring a secure lidded water bottle and a snack
- Bring your charged phone and car phone-charger (OnFleet does drain the phone battery)
