- Confirm that the driver is picking up groceries for Pantry at Home deliveries.
- Check-in driver using tablets
- For CRUISE drivers, check in using “Corporate Partner Curbside Pick-ups” form
- Ask driver for their name and enter name in google form
- Enter car name in google form
- Get # of bags from the driver (only check-in once to avoid duplicates)
- For Volunteer drivers, check in using “Delivery Routes” sheet
- Ask the driver their name,
- time of delivery,
- place a check mark in the column for “checked-in?”
- Confirm # of bags they are taking match the same numbers on the OnFleet app.
- Ask if they are a first-time volunteer.
- If first-time volunteer, let the curbside supervisor know for orientation.
- If returning volunteer, they simply need to know the number of bags they are delivering, pick-up any printed materials, and load up the bags.
- Help the drivers load the bags into their car if they would like the help.
- Some prefer to load themselves to maintain a 6 foot social distance.
- Offer gloves/masks if they do not have their own.
- Ask them to make a sticker nametag so that they can be identified by the participants to show the food bank logo to participants.
- Help push the black bins that hold the grocery bags.
