Curbside volunteers help check-in drivers and load cars when they arrive for home-delivery.  

This will include standing outside for the duration of the shift, regardless of the weather. Volunteers may use a tablet (we will train you) and may be required to lift 25 lb. bags repeatedly.

Shifts at Curbside do not qualify for SFMTA, SF Court, and Project 20 hours, more info here.

Delivery volunteers will pick up 15-20 bags of groceries from the Illinois Warehouse (1050 Marin St, SF) and deliver them to a pre-assigned list of recipients in a given SF neighborhood. Please make sure to specify any route preferences in the “notes” section of your volunteering shift registrations. Due to the nature of the program, we may not be able to accommodate every request.
