This opportunity is for our Supplemental Food Program (SFP), a box program for seniors. 

Responsibility:  The Restock & Recycling volunteer is responsible for maintaining a clean cardboard breakdown area and restocking items at distribution tables.

BEFORE distribution:

Set up recycling bin Help set up distribution tables Help set up canopies

DURING distribution

Ensure a clean and neat distribution area Breakdown cardboard and other boxes Ensures distribution tables are adequately stocked

AFTER distribution

Coordinate the packing up of the recycling bins Ensure bins are stable and wrapped

Wear closed-toed shoes We will be outside, please wear comfortable clothing (we recommend layers, a hat, and sunscreen due to the ever-changing weather conditions) Be aware there will not be a place to store personal belongings, please do not bring valuables Please bring a secure lidded water bottle and a snack Volunteers must wear gloves at all times (provided by the food bank) We ask that any volunteer who does not feel well refrain from attending their volunteer shift
